Cathedral Mountain

The clouds parted for a brief moment and the warm golden light of a new day encased the peak of Cathedral Mountain, a back drop to Lake O'Hara. To protect this sensitive alpine area, and maintain a wilderness experience, a quota system limits the number of visitors. This makes Lake O'Hara a very special place to visit, and I was privleged to be able to spend a whole day there which allowed me to come home with a series of equally special images.
